My stay at Ranchos Remo Lodge was delightful! I relaxed in a Double Room Sea View, waking each day to breathtaking ocean views. The welcoming hosts, Francesca and Luca, prepared scrumptious Italian breakfasts and were always available to share recommendations for local activities.
Steep access road.

The nightly breeze and overhead fan provided comfort.
The room was basic and lacked cleanliness. The parking was full, and I had difficulty finding a spot. Service at the restaurant was slow, and many menu items were sold out.

Staying at Ranchos Remo Lodge was a delight. Waking up in the Ocean View room felt magical. The views made every moment special, with spectacular sunrises and sunsets overlooking the ocean. I loved the open room design, just a mosquito net away from nature. Each morning, Francesca’s Italian breakfast blew me away. her homemade marmalade and omelettes were the highlight! The rich sounds of the jungle added to the ambiance. However, the road to the lodge is extremely rugged, making it tricky to navigate without a 4x4. The room cleaning schedule felt a bit sparse, with only every second day service, which is understandable given the humidity but personally, I wished for more frequent fresh towels. Overall, this place is perfect for adventure lovers seeking stunning views and a cozy dining experience under the stars.

Stunning views of the ocean from the room made every moment feel special, complemented by delicious seafood options like fresh catch prepared to perfection. The owners' hospitality was genuine, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made it hard to leave. However, there were occasional issues with service speed during busy times, and some of the dining options were limited, which could be improved. The remote location might not suit everyone, as it requires navigating back roads.

beautiful views , but missing some touches
The breakfast spread was delightful, with freshly made Italian dishes that I still crave. Francesca and Luca truly made me feel like family throughout my stay. Watching the sunrise over the ocean view from my room was a magical experience that I looked forward to every day.
The amenities felt slightly underwhelming for the price.

The views were breathtaking! ! Waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and birds was such a treat. The breakfast—freshly prepared—was simply incredible with authentic Italian dishes (I can't get over the Carbonara! ).
